Cindy finds out about Darren’s panic attack and goes to see him. Darren plays it down but eventually confesses that he’s terrified of being alone in the dark since prison. Newt turns to Jack for help and Jack visits Darren but doesn’t want to let down his barrier. Jack waivers until he realises that Darren was thinking of running away.
Newt tells Anita and Lauren about Darren’s panic attack and Anita knows Lauren was the cause of it and can’t believe she won’t own up. Lauren feels guilty but can’t risk pushing Newt further away. Anita is forced to tell the truth when Newt says he’s going to the police to stop Darren breaking his curfew. Lauren’s crushed when a furious Newt dumps her.
Rhys and Gilly organise a ‘Roaring Twenties’ night for The Dog and Hannah feels guilty that she’s already agreed to work for Justin at the SU bar. Rhys and Justin have an argument about their rival nights and when Hannah steps in it comes out that she is working for Justin. Justin’s pleased that Hannah’s not going to back out and seems more interested in her than Leila.
