It looks like there could be trouble brewing between the nurses and doctors at The Mill, when Ayesha Lee treats a man, Paddy Moran, for a cut to the head and is alarmed when she discovers doctors Daniel Granger and Al Haskey have both prescribed the patient with conflicting drugs.
Things would be a lot easier if Ayesha could just write out her own patient prescriptions, and she is not impressed by the way both Daniel and Al talk down to her. After angry Ayesha confides in surgery practice manager Becky Clarke, will the nurse file a formal complaint?
Meanwhile, Jimmi Clay is due soon to give evidence in court. But disaster strikes when he develops a bad neck. His colleagues Valerie Pitman and Sid Vere both try to help but nothing seems to work and Jimmi refuses to wear a neck brace!
Elsewhere, Dr Emma Reid is called in to work with DS Jill Wright on a rape case.
But things get awkward when DS Wright becomes suspicious that forensic medical examiner Stu Ford may somehow be connected to suspect rapist Dave Gill!
Since Emma once trained with Stu, could it be possible she doesn’t know him as well as she thought?
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
