Just as Becky Clarke is getting cosy with boyfriend Daniel Granger on Doctors, she's offered a new job... based in Worcester! What will she do?
Things are going rather nicely for Dr Daniel Granger (played by Matthew Chambers) and his girlfriend Becky Clarke (Ali Bastian) now the couple have moved in together on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings).
And now they’re ready for the next step… Izzy is going to meet Daniel’s teenage daughter Izzie Torres when she comes for a visit to Letherbridge.
However, considering the terrible turn of events the last time Izzie visited, when she clashed with Daniel’s wife Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh), let’s hope the stroppy schoolgirl is better behaved this time around!
But is Daniel and Becky’s love bubble about to be burst, after Becky receives an unexpected job offer from her one-time business mentor, Catrin Ballard (remember the formidable businesswoman who clashed with Mrs Tembe and went out with Dr Al Haskey earlier this year?).
Trouble is, the job is in Worcester. Will Becky accept the career move which would mean moving away?
Meanwhile, could things finally be looking up for Zara in the love department?
At the hospital, where one of her patients is undergoing some rare facial surgery, Zara enjoys a flirty chat with the dishy surgeon, Adam Regan (Edward MacLiam from BBC One’s Holby City and ITV’s DCI Banks).
There is a definite attraction between the pair, as Zara envies Adam’s jetsetting lifestyle.
Could this be the start of a new romance?
Elsewhere in Letherbridge, Imogen Hollins’s (Charlie Clemmow) health scare appears to have ruined things between her and Sid Vere (Ashley Rice).
Sid brings Imogen some flowers and the pair kiss. But they quickly realise things are not the same between them. So it looks like it’s make or break time…
ALSO, Ruhma Carter (Bharti Patel) blames herself for all the drama at the Icon Bar and surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) discovers the popular hangout may be closed for good!
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One
