Mrs Tembe has been struggling with her faith since the tragic turn of events following the car crash she was involved in with surgery colleagues Heston Carter and Al Haskey.

Out of hospital, Mrs Tembe makes her way to the church intending to attend the funeral. But when she gets there, she finds she is still angry with God over what has happened and cannot bring herself to go inside. Will Mrs Tembe miss her only opportunity to say goodbye?

Meanwhile, Ruhma Carter knows it is going to be a tough day so is grateful for the support of her children, Alia and Shak. But with angry Shak still looking to lay the blame on someone for the car crash, will the lad cause a scene at the church?

The sight of the funeral hearse causes nurse Ayesha Lee to have an emotional wobble, and it becomes clear just how deeply policeman Rob Hollins has been affected while investigating the crash.
