Even though Becky Clarke didn’t make a great first impression on everyone at The Mill, she’s still the favourite to replace Mrs Tembe as the surgery Practice Manager.

And the clock is ticking when Mrs Tembe suddenly announces she is leaving Letherbridge in two days to move to Newcastle and begin her training to become a vicar! So surgery partners Daniel Granger and Zara Carmichael had better hurry and make up their minds!

However, the couple are still distracted by troubles on the home front after their young son Joe ran away last week, upset by all the arguments between Daniel and Zara since Christmas.

Luckily, Joe was found by policeman Rob Hollins. But the problems continue when a stressed-out Joe starts to wet the bed which leads to another argument between Daniel and Zara…

Meanwhile, having finally got her vaccinations done ahead of her holiday, surgery receptionist Karen Hollins starts to complain she’s suffering side effects from the jabs Dr Sid Vere gave her. But it’s left to Dr Jimmi Clay to prescribe some meditation to try and calm down Karen! Will it work?

Elsewhere, midwife Ruhma Carter meets sisters Orla and Zoe Hammond who are both pregnant.
