EastEnders Bex Fowler is taken aback when her friend Louise Mitchell arranges a surprise party for her in the Queen Vic as a way to cheer her up. But perhaps it wasn’t the best plan, as Bex doesn’t want to be the centre of attention and does her best to keep a low profile.
The anxious teen still has a lot on her mind and she tries to open up to her uncle Robbie Jackson. But a drunk Robbie is distracted and doesn’t listen…
Jay Mitchell feels bad that ‘dad’ Phil Mitchell has made him refuse to bury Mel Owen’s criminal son Hunter Owen. Although what Hunter did was unforgiveable, he doesn’t like to see Mel punished. Jay agrees to let Mel into the funeral parlour so she can spend some time with her dead son. Mel’s old mate Lisa Fowler finds Mel in the funeral parlour and as the pair reminisce, leaving a grateful Mel comforted by Lisa’s support.
Bobby Beale is on the edge and, as he continues to hallucinate his dead sister Lucy Beale, he feels compelled to confront his past. The teenager tries to come to terms with everything that has happened to him and he finds himself in a very dangerous situation…
