News of the horrific attack on Phil Mitchell in EastEnders has spread around the Square. As the residents wonder who was responsible, those involved panic and try to cover the truth.
Tensions are running high and soon people are pointing fingers. One person is arrested over the attack but it’s not a clear-cut case… Someone else goes to dangerous lengths to cover their tracks.
Ruby Allen feels terrible that she had a go at Honey Mitchell for playing loud music. She discovers that it was down to Honey’s Down’s Syndrome daughter Janet Mitchell. Wracked with guilt, she talks to Max Branning about what happened and she later gives Janet a gift to apologise.
Pub landlady Linda Carter is horrified when she discovers that Ruby upset Janet. Overly sensitive because of her young son Ollie Carter’s possible autism, she has a huge go at a shocked Ruby. It’s down to Linda’s husband Mick Carter to diffuse the situation and encourage Linda to calm down. Later, there’s a worrying incident with Ollie and Linda has a go at Mick, who is clearly struggling to cope with the pressure.
Denise Fox is frustrated with unexpected house-guest Sheree when she makes herself a little too at home. Patrick Trueman encourages Denise not to be too harsh and give Sheree the benefit of the doubt.
Also, Callum Halfway feels guilty about struggling to write his wedding vows, as bride-to-be Whitney Dean is so excited to hear them.
