Julie talks to Jason about her feelings towards Colin and a sympathetic Jason invites her over and shows Julie the family photo album. Julie’s intrigued to hear about all the relations she never knew she had. Eileen tells Julie she’s not welcome at No.11 and as far as she’s concerned Colin can rot in hell. Julie leaves upset. Julie cries alone at No.5 while Eileen cries at No.11.
Ken returns home and realises the letter has gone from the dresser. Deirdre and Blanche get back and Ken is relieved that Deirdre clearly hasn’t read his letter. Peter tells Ken that he rescued the letter before Deirdre saw it and Ken is grateful, but Peter tells Ken he should be ashamed of the way he’s treated Deirdre. Later, Deirdre suggests to Ken he could come and scrub her back in the bath and Ken secretly wonders if he made the right decision.
Darryl finishes with Amber, as he’s worried he’s not good enough for her and she’ll find someone else when she moves to London. An upset Amber assures Darryl she loves him and they make up.
Also, Jack agrees to go to the bingo with Connie, but wants to keep it quiet from Tyrone and Molly.
