Marlon Dingle is struggling with his new role as landlord...
Marlon has been struggling to make ends meet having recently ploughed all his spare cash into buying half of the Woolpack pub.
He managed to get his hands on the business after Chas Dingle forced disgraced Charity Dingle to give up her share.
However, buying a pub in a pandemic might not have been his best business move, because now Marlon is finding out how hard it is to be a manager.
Not only has he had to cut corners on his infamous pub menu, but he and business partner Chas have had to make some upsetting business decisions.
Rhona to the rescue
Realising his dilemma, Marlon’s girlfriend Rhona Goskirk came up with a genius plan and suggested Marlon and his daughter, April, move in with her and Leo.
Rhona’s idea meant that Marlon could then rent out his house, bringing in some much needed cash.
However, Marlon is about to find out that if he thought being a business owner was hard enough, being a landlord is even worse!
When prospective tenants Mack and Ryan start grilling him on his house rules, it soon becomes clear that Marlon hasn’t got the foggiest.
Before long the pub chef finds himself on the back foot… but does this mean Mack and Ryan don’t want the house after all?
Is Marlon’s only hope of making some money about to fall flat?
