Emmerdale spoilers: Will Ross Barton be leaving the village alone?

Ross is crushed his girlfriend Rebecca wants to delay their exit from the village. He can't help wonder if she's calling time on their relationship too...

Double-bill (Episode 2 of 2). It looks like Ross Barton could be leaving the village alone now his girlfriend Rebecca White is getting cold feet over a potential custody battle with her one-time lover, Robert Sugden.

Robert, dad to Rebecca’s son Seb, and Charity Dingle, mum of Ross’s son Moses, have been up in arms since they discovered Ross and Rebecca’s plans to leave the village. Both are refusing to let the couple leave the village with the kids, so this could all end in a mud-slinging custody case in court.

Rebecca has asked Ross if they can slow down and delay their plans by a few months so she can come to some sort of arrangement with Robert over baby Seb.

But Ross is crushed Rebecca has suddenly changed her mind and is now secretly wondering if Rebecca is really trying to give him the brush-off. It wouldn’t be the first time! Will he be leaving the village a single man?

Meanwhile, it’s been months since Bob Hope got the boot from his short-lived marriage to Brenda Walker and lost his job at the village cafe, during a settlement with Brenda after she discovered the truth about Bob’s affair with family friend Laurel Thomas.

But much to the increasing annoyance of Laurel, Bob doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to find gainful employment.

Despite Laurel’s best efforts to get Bob back out there into the workforce, he manages to find another excuse to delay his job hunting so he can spend more time with his twin children Heath and Cathy, and Laurel’s son Arthur. But while the kids are thrilled to have fun Bob around the place, Laurel is getting increasingly uneasy about life with unemployed Bob.

Could this be the straw to break their relationship?
