Emmerdale spoilers: Will Victoria lie in court to protect Robert?

As the day of Robert's court hearing approaches on Emmerdale, Victoria starts to get cold feet about lying to save her brother being sent to prison...

It is almost time for Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) to find out his fate in court, after he attacked his sister Victoria Sugden’s (Isabel Hodgins) rapist Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie) with a shovel and left him in a coma on Emmerdale.

Both Robert and his husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) are confident that if Robert sticks to his claim he attacked Lee in self-defence, he’ll walk free from court and get away with his crime.

But just to make sure, Robert hopes Victoria will back him up with her testimony in court, since she has already lied to the police that her brother was provoked and it was self-defence.

However, during a meeting with his solicitor in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Robert is shocked when he is advised to plead guilty! But will Robert heed the advice or stick to his guns, confident he can fool the court?

With her guilty conscience getting the better of her, Victoria confides in friend Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) that she saw what happened that fateful day Robert attacked Lee – and it WASN’T self-defence. She has already made a false police statement.
