A young wife and mum (Gemma Arterton) comes to the end of her tether in this intimate domestic drama.

She feels so stifled by her stay-at-home life in a Kent commuter town that one day she unexpectedly takes flight, leaving behind her self-absorbed husband (Dominic Cooper) and two small children.

But will a one-way train ticket to Paris heal her despair?

This partly improvised film is unlike anything Arterton has done before, but her emotionally stripped-bare performance is terrific – and achingly affecting.
