Everyone turns against Paul

With his role in the party incident exposed, Paul vents his frustration by firing Summer. Paul tries to stay strong but both Andrew and Sophie turn on him, too. Then, finding that his advertisers are also dropping out, Paul resigns to save the paper from going under and appoints Susan as the new editor. It’s what Susan’s always wanted and her first move is to rehire Summer. Paul soon realises losing his job might be more of a problem than he’d thought.

Sophie writes an apology letter for vandalising the school but Callum insists she’ll need a bigger gesture if she wants her expulsion overturned. With Andrew’s help, Sophie persuades Red Cotton to play at the Working Bee, drawing more volunteers down to pitch in. But when she takes to the stage for an impromptu performance, Priya believes Sophie’s attention seeking and refuses to believe her apology is genuine.

Tash faces a financial crisis when she receives a fine for loud music at the party. She scrapes cash together by selling some of her old clothes but, when she works out her finances, she discovers she’s not going to be able to make ends meet…
