There’s a reunion of sorts in this week’s Holby as director of nursing Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) crosses paths with a heart patient, played by The Bill stalwart Graham Cole – aka PC Tony Stamp. Alex starred alongside Graham as the cop drama’s Dale ‘Smithy’ Smith from 1999 to 2010.
This week, as Fletch tries to get over the loss of best friend Raf, he’s thrown when he’s sent Raf’s old record collection as part of his inheritance. Patient Larry (Graham Cole) shows great interest in the records and reckons Raf wants Fletch to now put them all in order. Can Fletch work through his grief to fulfil Raf’s wish from beyond the grave?

When new junior doctor Nicky and nurse Donna both have doubts about Sacha’s diagnosis of patient Anita, they ask Ollie for advice. But when Nicky pushes Ollie too far, will she help or hinder his recovery?
