Disney takes on classic fairy tale The Snow Queen and, with typical panache, gives it a modern-day spin to tell the story of two orphaned princesses.

Scared Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) condemns the kingdom to permanent winter when she runs away while kindhearted Anna (Kristen Bell) must try to save her and undo the spell. Much of the plot, and the comedy, is given over to the antics of hunky ice merchant Kristoff (Jonathan Goff), his reindeer, Sven, and a naive snowman, Olaf.

But the film wins you over with its enchanting animation, funny storytelling and heartfelt songs, including the Oscar winning, like Let It Go, that hit the spot.
