Joel Dexter finds himself being treated by Cleo's boyfriend, Mitchell Deveraux, when he has to go to hospital
Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) finds himself having to go to hospital after injuring his leg during a motorbike accident.
However when he goes to A&E he finds himself being treated by none other than Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) who just happens to be the new boyfriend of Joel’s ex fiancée, Cleo McQueen (Nadine Rose Mulkerrin).
As patient and doctor come face to face, and with Cleo lurking in the background, things are awkward when Mitchell has to examine Joel, who is in pain and propped up in bed.
However Cleo decides the best thing is for Joel and Mitchell to get to know eachother a bit better and she promptly invites her ex Joel to join her and Mitchell on a cinema date the following day. Will Joel agree?
Elsewhere Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is back from holiday and it’s not long before trouble-making Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) is trying to tempt her with his stash of drugs.
Plus Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) decide to ambush head teacher Sally at Hollyoaks High. The pair of them want to know why she held a Prevent assembly at the school for her pupils.
Ste’s anger boils over when deputy head Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) enters the room and when hot-headed Ste loses his temper, he’s quickly ejected from the school.
Ste’s daughter Leah (Jessica Croft-Lane) is mortified by her father’s outburst, especially when his outspoken opinions quickly spread amongst the pupils.
When Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) finds out what’s happened she wants Leah to stop living with Ste and move in with her instead. Will Leah stay loyal to her dad, or has she had enough?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4.
