It’s the day of Sinead O’Connor’s court case and she’s in bits.
Sinead (Stephanie Davies) who has misled the police about the date her husband, Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor), raped her, can’t decide whether or not to plead guilty to the calculated lies charge against her.
Her lawyer, Sami Maalki (Rishi Nair) decides to turn to one of Laurie’s previous victims, a woman called Georgia, to help build his case against Laurie and to help with Sinead’s terrible situation.
Although Georgia is at first, reluctant to help, Liberty Savage (Abi Phillips) steps in. With some encouragement from Liberty, Georgia agrees to bring an assault case against Laurie.
Elsewhere, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) who was left partially paralysed following the horror car smash caused by Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan), is determined to get her life back to normal as soon as possible.
She decides to set herself an ambitious goal and sets a date in her diary for when she wants to be able to master the stairs at The Loft. Is head-strong Grace headed for a fall?
Plus Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) was aghast when she overheard her boyfriend Jack Osborne (Jimmy McKenna) and his son Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) discussing something very disturbing from Jack’s past.
Having decided to put some distance between her and Jack, Breda’s son Sylver (David Tag) urges her that she should at least give Jack the chance to explain himself. Will Breda be prepared to let Jack tell his side of the story?
