A drunk James Nightingale is determined to work out who has set out to frame him for Kyle’s murder.
Worse for wear, he starts examining the noticeboard he has set up pin-pointing all the possible suspects but having made so many bitter enemies, the lawyer is going to have his work cut out in nailing the culprit!
When he runs out of wine he heads off the shop to re-stock but when he returns to the house he’s disturbed to see someone has spray-painted the words, “KILLER FREAK” on his front door.
His mum Marnie tries to comfort him, but James is in a real state.
Meanwhile, in special flashback scenes, a young James is seen starting his first ever job at law firm Forbes Carney. However he is put under intense pressure when his father, Mac, reveals the family business is in dire straits and he needs £100k to rescue it from bankruptcy.
Desperate to win his dad’s approval, James plays dirty and begins to swindle money from Forbes Carney.
As the flashback continues, manipulative Mac is upset to learn, on James’s 16th birthday that his son is gay and takes matters into his own hand by hiring a female prostitute to sleep with his son.
With a warped father like Mac, it soon becomes clear how James has developed into the disturbed and bitter individual he is today….
