After making the shocking discovery that Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) has been drugging him and keeping him prisoner, a desperate Louis Loveday (Karl Collins) has been doing everything he can to escape.

As his ordeal continues, he manages to break free during a moment when he is left alone and sends a frantic text to his ex-wife Simone (Jacqueline Boatswain). However the text fails to deliver!

Meanwhile Breda finds the paper with her traced over letter to the police that Louis has hidden and her blood boils to realise Louis has been secretly plotting. Unable to trust her captive anymore she comes to a dangerous decision!

Elsewhere James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) rebuffs Harry Thompson (Parry Glasspool), who is desperate to rekindle their relationship and instead decides to concentrate all his efforts on building a bond with his son Romeo Quinn (Owen Warner).

Seeing his friend so down, Zack  Loveday (Duayne Boachie) decides to try and help Harry move on and sets him up on a blind date.

Plus Jonny (Ray Quinn) convinces his step-dad Terry that he is Ste Hay’s brother. Terry asks Ste (Kieron Richardson) if he can stay with them for a while and tries to convince them both that he is a changed man. However it’s clear he’s very dodgy when he steals money from Leela’s purse! Are Terry’s dubious actions about to be rumbled?
