There's fresh drama ahead when Luke Morgan makes an unexpected return to Hollyoaks. How will his estranged wife Mandy react?
Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) makes a surprise return to Hollyoaks after being released from prison.
Luke, whose marriage to Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) ended in tatters after he discovered she was having an affair with his best mate Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), was banged up behind bars for attacking Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams).
The volatile dad, who’s a recovering alcoholic, battered Scott when he thought he’d been abusing his son Ollie (Aedan Duckworth) and was promptly jailed for assault.
Now he’s back but how will he fit in now that Mandy and Darren are playing happy families with baby DJ?
And will Ollie, who knows that Luke is actually DJ’s biological dad, be able to keep up the lie any longer or will he tell his dad that DJ is his?
Discussing the upcoming scenes, Hollyoaks’ boss Bryan Kirkwood says: ‘There are secrets that will be dug up in the weeks after Luke’s return. And then there’s Cindy who might well set her sights on Luke.
‘They’ve been in each other’s orbit for more than 20 years but haven’t ever really spent much time together.
‘Luke sees her as Mandy’s annoying little step-sister and Cindy’s got a pretty low opinion of him. But we think Cindy and Luke might be one to watch.’
Could romance be on the cards for Luke and Cindy?
Elsewhere Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) is forging ahead with her plans to become a mum after Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddard) agreed to be a surrogate for her and Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward).
Things don’t get off to a harmonious start when Liberty and Sienna start bickering over different approaches to the surrogacy process and have a falling out.
Will they be able to patch up their differences, or is the surrogacy arrangement off?
Plus Leela Lomax (Kirsty- Leigh Porter) is delighted when her daughter Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) gets a place at university and announces she’s set her sights on becoming a nurse. Is the future bright for Peri?
