Alison Hammond turns up in Hollyoaks on a special mission involving Maxine Minniver
TV presenter Alison Hammond is a surprise arrival in Chester following Maxine Minniver’s call to the This Morning phone in. Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) rang the ITV show and gave an emotional account, live on air, of her ‘illness’ and also made up a story about her relationship with Damon, saying that her boyfriend had left her.
Why has Alison suddenly come to Chester?
However, there is more drama for Maxine besides Alison’s arrival. She goes into a spin when she receives a call from the hospital asking her to come in immediately.
Maxine, who has undergone numerous medical tests, but has been faking her illness in order to get attention and manipulate Damon into marrying her, is rattled when she hears the medics need to see her asap. What have they discovered?
Meanwhile Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) and Yazz Maalik (Haeisha Mistry) break into Jonny Baxter’s house to get a sample of his DNA in order to prove whether he is or isn’t Ste Hay’s biological brother.
Elsewhere, with Sinead O’Connor (Stephanie Davis) still behind bars, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) makes it clear to Sinead’s smug husband, Laurie Shelby, that he’s not welcome at Hollyoaks High.
Determined to prove his innocence and re-instate his status as Deputy Head, Laurie (Kyle Pryor) speaks to Head Teacher, Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace), however as the conversation grows tense and Laurie goads Sally there is serious trouble brewing.
Plus Nana McQueen plants the idea of marriage in Jack Osborne’s mind. Is Jack (Jimmy McKenna) about to pop the question to secret serial killer, Breda McQueen (Moya Brady)?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
