Will Buster Smith be facing a long stint behind bars for his abuse of Ollie Morgan or will the jury find him not guilty?
It’s the final day in court for Buster Smith’s trial and the jury are hearing the closing arguments as his victims and son look on nervously.
Imran Maalik is struggling to cope under the pressure as are Buster’s son Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) and another of Buster’s victims, Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward). Before the verdict Damon and Brody have heart-to-heart.
Meanwhile after a week of intense pressure in the courtroom, Brooke Hathaway (Talia Grant) has been on hand to support Olly Morgan (Aedan Duckworth).
When the two teens find themselves alone, the chemistry between them sizzles. Will the couple share a kiss?
Later on they are called back into the courtroom to hear Buster’s fate. Will the abuser be facing a long stint behind bars? Or will the jury find him innocent and will manipulative Buster be a free man?
Elsewhere, the McQueens are full of anticipation as it’s time for multi-millionaire Russ Owen’s will to be read. His wife Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe), who was married to him for less than a day before he met his grisly end at the hands of Breda (Moya Brady), is convinced she’s going to be in the money and heads off to splash the cash on some serious shopping.
Meanwhile Myra is also rubbing her hands at the prospect of a massive windfall from the late businessman.
How generous has Russ (Stuart Manning) been? Is widow Mercedes about to inherit a vast fortune or has Russ left all his money to someone else?
