Thinking her big brother Colby Thorne will be better off without her, teenager Bella Nixon has fled Summer Bay… and returned to her childhood home!
It’s all a bit eerie as Bella arrives back at the house she shared with her dad Ross Nixon, as everything is just the way they left it before Colby tracked them down. Still unaware that Ross is dead, shot by Colby, is Bella hoping he’ll show back at the house to see her again?
Meanwhile, back in the Bay, Colby is in a panic after finding his sister’s goodbye note. The policeman in him kicks into gear and he enlists the help of friends Willow Harris and Dean Thompson to help find Bella. But where to look? Will any of them guess where Bella has fled to?
At the same time, Dean has troubles of his own as he struggles to deal with his guilt over helping Colby bury Ross’s dead body.
Having become a sleepless zombie and missed some work shifts at the Board Shop, Dean also has to hope boss Ben Astoni won’t give him the boot!
Across the fact that Dean’s been struggling to sleep in recent days, Willow is delighted to see he’s doing a lot better and is finally getting some rest. Ben too is impressed with a refreshed Dean, who has been doing a good job at the Board Shop. But despite this upbeat façade, Dean continues to struggle with his guilt over Ross’s murder.
Willow is pleased Dean seems to be doing better. However, little does she know Dean is about to try and ease his guilty conscience by confessing to the killer crime in a letter and posting it to the police..
Elsewhere in the Bay, the tension continues between hospital co-workers Tori Morgan and Jasmine Delaney after the baby bombshell which wrecked Jasmine’s engagement to Robbo and saw him leave the Bay.
So when Jasmine hears Tori has been complaining about Jasmine’s coldness at work, she storms round to the Morgan house to give Tori a piece of her mind and makes it VERY clear they may never be friends again!
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
