After recovering from her epileptic seizure, will Raffy accept help from boyfriend Ryder... or continue to push him away?
As Raffy Morrison recovers at home from her epileptic seizure, brought on by her stress over school, her boyfriend Ryder Jackson seeks advice from his family on the best way to try and help her. Ryder was alarmed when Raffy had a meltdown in The Diner and warned him he cannot help her… so what can he do?
Martha, the first-wife of his granddad Alf Stewart, gives the teenage lad some good advice on how to help Raffy deal with her anxiety. Martha, who has battled borderline personality disorder in the past, shows Ryder a memory card game she used to play, which helped her cope when her mental illness took hold.
Later, Ryder makes it clear to Raffy that he’ll be by her side what ever challenges come her way. Will she accept his help?
Meanwhile, frustrated by his younger sister’s battle with epilepsy and the side effects of the medication she has to take, trainee doctor Mason Morgan starts researching alternative medicine, including medical marijuana. Desperate times call for desperate measures!
And Alf is moved after hearing Martha tell Ryder about her struggle with mental illness and realises just how much she’s had to deal with on her own all these years.
Enjoying the time they’re spending together, Alf plans a day out for them on the Blaxland.
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
