There's a life or death dilemma for Jasmine Delaney on Home and Away. Will she carry out life-saving surgery on shot kidnapper Lenny?
Jasmine Delaney (played by Sam Frost) must keep her wits about her after being kidnapped on Home and Away (1:15pm/6:00pm on Channel 5, see our TV Guide for full listings).
The hospital nurse is being held hostage in an abandoned warehouse by Des (Matt Zeremes) and his thugs Lenny (Joseph Del Re) and Fitz (Nathan Sapsford), who have unfinished business with Jasmine’s husband, Robbo (Jake Ryan).
But during the kidnap chaos, Lenny got shot and the bullet is still lodged inside. Jasmine warns Des that Lenny needs to get to hospital for surgery or he will die.
However, devious Des has other ideas and gives Jasmine a deadly dilemma. Either she operates on Lenny at the warehouse to remove the bullet. Or Des will put the thug out of his misery!
What will Jasmine do now she has Lenny’s life in her hands?
Meanwhile, Robbo and policeman Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) are still on the trail. Using traffic camera footage, Colby spots the kidnappers’ car heading for nearby Reefton Lakes.
Are Robbo and Colby one-step closer to rescuing Jasmine? And what do her kidnappers want in exchange for Jasmine’s safe release?
Elsewhere in the Bay, Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) discovers the disastrous effect her meddling has had on Maggie (Kestie Morassi) and Ben Astoni’s (Rohan Nichols) already troubled marriage.
Ben stormed off, thinking it was Maggie who arranged for her and Ben to meet at Summer Bay House for dinner.
When Alf (Ray Meagher) sees the damage his daughter Roo has done, he tries to smooth things over with Ben and offers some advice to give things another go with Maggie.
Is there a chance Maggie and Ben can still get their marriage back on track?
ALSO, Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) is still hanging in limbo, awaiting her fate and if she will be sent to prison for attacking Tommy O’Reilly over his attempted sexual assault of teenager Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller).
The judge has ordered the jury to reach a verdict within 48 hours.
Realising her days of freedom could be numbered, Irene decides to make the most of her remaining time and arranges a dinner party for all the friends who have supported her through this terrible time.
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
