Things get totes emosh on Home and Away as teenager Raffy Morrison waves bye-bye to friends and family and leaves Summer Bay!
The time has come for Raffy Morrison (played by Olivia Deeble) to pack her bags on Home and Away (1:15pm/6:00pm on Channel 5, see our TV Guide for full listings), and leave Summer Bay for a new life in Melbourne.
The teenager has been accepted onto a medical trial for medicinal cannabis that could help with her epilepsy and will be staying with big brother Brody Morgan, who also left the Bay earlier this year.
As friends and family gather to farewell Raffy including the Morgan brothers and Raffy’s ex-boyfriend Ryder Jackson (Lukas Radovich), her foster parents Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) and John Palmer (Shane Withington) find Raffy’s sudden departure all too sad.
However, no sooner has Raffy waved her final goodbyes, than Marilyn and John are touched when they find a special letter Raffy has written just for them.
Meanwhile, there’s bad blood between Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) and his mum Karen (Georgia Adamson) after her bad behaviour at Salt.
Karen storms off after Dean fails to support her after her angry clash with customer John Palmer.
But after Dr Alex Neilson (Zoe Ventoura) explains to Dean about Karen’s stress levels and the medication she takes, he realises he’s made a terrible mistake and said some cruel things he might not be able to take back.
As Dean catches up with Karen on the beach, and they are reminded of what Karen was like when Dean was a child, will they be able to move forward from the past and start again? Or is the damage done?
ALSO, things are still awkward between Maggie (Kestie Morassi) and her husband Ben Astoni (Rohan Nichol).
When the couple bump into each other at the Diner, Maggie tries to be supportive and ask Ben about his upcoming court case.
But after Ben once again shuts Maggie out, it all begins to prove too much and she later breaks down to daughter Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) about how she feels everything is going wrong.
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
