This cheery, colourful family comedy, part live-action and part animation, features Russell Brand as the voice of young rabbit EB.
He’d rather be a rock drummer than follow in the footsteps of his father, the Easter Bunny (Hugh Laurie). So he escapes from his home (Easter Island, naturally) and fetches up in LA.
There, he crosses paths with an unemployed slacker (James Marsden) and tricks him into helping him fulfil his dreams.
Cheeky and mischievous, Brand is a good fit for EB and his antics will tickle youngsters (not least when pooping jelly beans), while gags about Hugh Hefner’s Playboy bunnies and a self-mocking cameo from David Hasselhoff will keep older viewers entertained.
