Howard discovers that patients are making accusations of homophobia against the practice. As a handful of protestors gather outside The Mill chanting against the Practice being homophobic, Howard spots Franc talking to a journalist and wonders if he is ‘the mole’.
Heston is visited by Cal Williams and his son, David, and becomes concerned for the boy’s welfare. Looking through Cal’s notes, Heston discovers Cal was injured in a terrorist bomb attack. When Heston then notices cuts on David’s arm he contacts Social Services fearing Cal might be suffering from PTS.
Al and Niamh have just returned from holiday and Niamh tracks Howard down to the University where she reveals that she killed a patient. Howard tells her that he will discuss it with the partners tomorrow.
