More lines are blurred as the synths and humans return for a second series…
This intense thriller picks up several months after the series one finale, when ‘synths’ all over the world are beginning to spectacularly malfunction – in other words, experience ‘consciousness’.
Niska (Emily Berrington) is at the heart of it in Berlin, where she’s caught between a new human relationship and duty to her fellow synths.
Meanwhile, Mia (Gemma Chan), Leo and Max are keeping a low profile in Margate, and the Hawkins family are finding it hard to move on after Joe’s infidelity with robot Anita (aka Mia).
Look out for new synths and humans this series, including The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss as an artificial-intelligence expert in the US.
