Before his shift at The Icon, Jack tries to prepare his opening statement for the Victorian court re-enactment when he is accosted by super geek Nigel Bright, who is desperate to act as his clerk.

Heston is also preparing by admiring his wig in a mirror, but rejects Mrs Tembe’s offer of help before realising he might be out of his depth. At The Icon, Nigel baffles Jack with his legal babble so Jack leaves him to write.

Meanwhile, Heston fears his opening statement is too preachy while Jack is worried that Nigel has packed his statement too full of legal jargon. Jack sacks Nigel before getting some inspiration from Rob.

Also, a day out house-hunting becomes more stressful and competitive than anyone had bargained for.
