Hayden Christensen discovers that he can pass through walls and teleport anywhere in the world. So he looks up the girl of his dreams (Rachel Bilson) and whisks her off to Rome. There he meets another jumper kid (Jamie Bell), but they’ve been identified by Samuel L Jackson’s secret organisation that’s sworn to kill them and their kind. Though the plot is flimsy and disposable, director Doug Liman’s enjoyable, nifty thriller is appealing, the acting by the impressive ensemble is slick and the eye-boggling special effects are state of the art.
