A woman on the edge, Terese publicly accosts Nate, but Susan helps her see sense and she apologises to Lauren for asking her to tell the police that Nate was the culprit. While Terese remains in despair about how to protect her son, she and Brad have a reconciliation of sorts – as they pledge to do whatever they can for Josh. Lauren, however, has no such luck when attempting to reach out to Matt. The distance between them is just getting bigger.

Nate’s struggling to cope with the distance he feels from Chris’s life. He wrestles with his doubts, and comes to talk to Chris while he’s unconscious. But far from his commitment wavering, Nate vows to stay by his boyfriend’s side. And when Chris wakes from his coma, that’s exactly where Nate is.

Josh appreciates Paige’s attempts to lift his spirits, but nothing truly brings relief until he hears that Chris has woken from his coma. The moment is quickly overshadowed, however, as he and Paige discover graffiti in front of the Willis House, labelling Josh a ‘coward puncher’.
