Alan Titchmarsh and his merry band of gardeners have a very special task tonight as they transform the garden of someone who really deserves something lovely to happen in her life. Caroline Hall, an animal charity inspector living in Bolton, was just 33 years old when she had a near-fatal spinal stroke that left her paralysed from the neck down. Suddenly this active, nature-loving young woman was barely able to leave the house, never mind care for her garden. But that’s all set to change when the team come up with a plan to transform her long, narrow patch into a haven for wildlife and a tranquil and accessible paradise for Caroline.
