Feeding the family is the focus this week, with new and classic dishes that’ll keep everybody happy.

A melanzane pasta bake – layered lasagne sheets, tomato and white sauce and sliced aubergine – looks particularly tasty, and there’s ‘cheat’s fish pie’ and rice pudding on the menu too.

Mary also takes her daughter and granddaughter to learn how to milk a goat (it doesn’t go according to plan, at first!) and make cheese – that’s dedication!
