Josh and Mrs Tembe visit a museum, where Josh is captivated by a model train set. As they wander on, Mrs Tembe’s shocked to find a Golliwog on display without any explanation of the doll’s history – and tells Josh that, for her, it’s offensive. She recalls the first time she saw a Golliwog as a child – a white child waved a doll at her and said ‘this is you’ – the doll was dressed as a house slave. Josh then watches as Mrs Tembe complains to a museum attendant.

Over coffee, they start to bond and Josh asks her about Botswana. She reminds him of the model train set and Josh reveals how he got one for Christmas after years of asking, only for his father to whack him and shut him in his room all day when he knocked a bottle over at the table. He never saw the train set again. As they part, Josh thanks Mrs Tembe, who suggests they meet up again. Mrs Tembe smiles but, as she goes, Josh looks mysterious…

Emma wakes after a passionate night with Gareth, who seems in no rush to leave. He asks lots of questions but finally she shoves him out the door, relieved that they both agree it was a one-night fling. But, later at The Mill, Emma’s horrified to see Gareth again – but he’s not here for a relationship, he wants to sell her a hot tub! Stunned, Emma throws him out… then goes about inviting guests for her ‘Welcome Niamh Dinner Party’ tomorrow night.

Also, when an old friend comes to see him, Heston finds himself daring to dream that romance is on the cards…
