The excellent documentary series presented by and made for young people makes a welcome return today with a moving examination of what life is like for children whose fathers
are in prison.

Flynn was only four when his dad went away, and he and his older sister Maisie open up about how their father’s 24-year sentence (‘something to do with drugs’, says Flynn) has affected
their self-confidence.

Meanwhile Tala, whose dad is just a year into his sentence, reveals how writing a blog about what happened to her family has helped her to cope with the experience of having a parent who’s locked up.
