Nadiya Hussain’s in the Peak District in this second episode of her new series, spicing up more British classics and learning all about the food we know and love.

The former Bake Off winner is starting with a twist on many people’s favourite indulgence, the Bakewell tart, sprinkling in some nutmeg for tantalising extra flavour, before waking up some simple Derbyshire oatcakes by turning them into spicy samosas.

There’s fun inspiration to be had if you’re tired of making the same old meals, but one or two of the flavour combinations seem a bit scary to us – much as we love her, we might pass on Nadiya’s Tandoori cod burger and have good old fish and chips instead!
