Just as Elly is starting to get cosy with her baby daddy Shaun on Neighbours, the pregnant teacher makes a SHOCK discovery...
Elly Conway (played by Jodi Anasta) has been very worried about her younger sister Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson) since she was electrocuted in an “accident” at The Waterhole on Neighbours.
Luckily, Elly has found an unexpected shoulder to lean on, from her baby-daddy-to-be, Shaun Watkins (Brad Moller).
Shaun claims he’s back in Erinsborough to make everything right after all the drama surrounding Elly’s pregnancy and the discovery that he is the father.
However, Dr David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) cannot shake the feeling that Shaun is up to something shifty, after overhearing Shaun discussing Elly in a mystery phone call.
When David and his hubby Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) hear that Shaun has asked Elly how she feels about them trying an actual relationship, David is more determined to make sure Shaun doesn’t take advantage of pregnant Elly’s fragile state and mess with her emotions.
So while doing some snooping at the Kennedy house, David discovers the mysterious paperwork Shaun recently received…
And when David hands the papers over to Elly, she’s alarmed to see it is a secret custody contract! Is Shaun out to take Elly’s baby?
Meanwhile, Bea remains in hospital after her electrocution, with boyfriend Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) keeping an anxious vigil beside her bed.
But there’s panic when Bea suddenly clutches her chest and feels her heart racing.
Upon further investigation, doctor David has some SHOCK news for Bea that not only leaves the singer reeling… but also scheming Scarlett Brady (Christie Whelan Browne) who secretly caused the “accident”.
Scarlett is left shaken when she realises the REAL damage her actions have done…
And elsewhere, policeman Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) still hasn’t quite got used to the idea of officially dating Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson), the wild child of Erinsborough!
So when barmaid Roxy makes a spectacle at The Waterhole by standing on a table and ordering boyfriend Mark to take part in a drinking challenge, will it be a step too far for sensible Mark?
Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5
