Unable to get a bank loan, will desperate dad Gary swipe from prison inmate Jeremy's bag of stolen cash to pay Xanthe's university fees?
With the deadline looming to pay his daughter Xanthe’s university fees, Gary Canning is stressed-out as he still hasn’t been able to raise the extra money he needs to send Xanthe off to study medicine.
After discovering a bank loan will take about two weeks to sort out, desperate Gary realises he may only be left with one option – to “borrow” the money from the bag of stolen cash he has been secretly hiding following his dodgy dealings with prison inmate Jeremy Sluggett earlier in the year. Will Gary swipe the $100,000 he needs for Xanthe’s uni fees and hope criminal Jeremy never finds out?
Meanwhile, Karl and Susan Kennedy are in disagreement over his sister Jemima Davies-Smythe’s offer to set them up financially for the rest of their lives.
Susan, who has only just made peace with Jemima after a very rocky start to the relationship, doesn’t feel right about accepting the money. However, Karl is clearly quite taken by the idea of being able to afford to take early retirement and wants to consider the offer.
Elsewhere, legal eagle Toadie Rebecchi unexpectedly finds himself in a frisky mood at work, unaware neighbour Dipi Rebecchi’s special aphrodisiac tea has found its way into the office cupboard! Can Toadie’s wife Sonya help him out with his problem?
