Fay Brennan returns to Ramsay Street again to visit her children Mark, Aaron and Chloe.

While at Number 24, Fay tells Mark she thinks he should look into rejoining the police force. He may be a garage boss these days, but he still seems to spend lots of time investigating on behalf of his neighbours.

However, getting back on the police force may not be that easy since Mark was dismissed after tampering with evidence to protect his younger brother Tyler, who at the time was being accused of the murder of his hated dad Hamish Roche.

Mark consults his legal eagle neighbour Toadie Rebecchi who suggests they could argue Mark was in a fragile state of mind at the time of his dismissal, because of the death of the baby surrogate mum Sonya Rebecchi was carrying for Mark and then girlfriend Steph Scully. But is Mark prepared to dredge up such emotional memories to help him get his former job back?

Meanwhile, Chloe is nervous about Fay’s arrival as she is dreading breaking the news of her diagnosis with Huntington’s disease. Aaron pushes Chloe to come clean with Fay. But can Chloe bring herself to stress-out her mum with such shock news?

Elsewhere, Gary Canning is still reeling from his break-up with girlfriend Amy Williams. But it seems Amy doesn’t just want to move out of the Canning house. She needs some real distance from Gary and announces she’s decided to take a trip to New York to visit her teenage son, Jimmy.

Poor Gary, it looks like Amy can’t get far enough away from him!
