Four years ago, the country was in recession. The general mood was pessimistic and expectations for the London 2012 Olympics were at rock bottom. Despite the cynicism and negative press, Opening Ceremony director Danny Boyle and his team were forging ahead with plans for ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’.
