Rhiannon returns to Erinsborough to give evidence to the police about Paul’s bribery of Alan Hewitt. Paul threatens to make public the fact that she was basically hired as an escort for Hewitt. Rhiannon confides in Sheila the difficulty of turning her life around in Mount Isa. Sheila advises her to take whatever opportunity she can find to change people’s minds about her, giving Rhiannon an idea. She rejects a bribe from Paul and takes a job with him – to Matt’s horror. She and her son will be starting a new life in Erinsborough.

Imogen discovers Eric had a serious ski accident, which could be responsible for the back injury he claims was caused by the gym equipment. However, Toadie sacks Imogen, her actions breached client confidentiality.

Brad is pleased when Eric drops the case, and Toadie’s dodged a bullet – he now won’t have to explain how he got the information on Eric. Imogen seeks sympathy from Mason and when he asks her to the movies to cheer her up, Imogen is thrilled.

Chris changes his mind about attending Hudson’s sentencing hearing, deaf to Sheila’s advice that it would help him move on. Joshua passes on a letter from Hudson to Chris, but Chris cannot bring himself to read it and has another fling instead.
