Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell present this year's hunt for the best portrait artist
Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell present this year’s hunt for the best portrait artist.
Nine hopefuls have brought their brushes to the Wallace Collection in London for a four-hour paint-off. Divided into three groups of three, each group is presented with a different sitter to paint – this week it’s actors Stanley Tucci, Indira Varma and Freddie Highmore.
The results across the board are stunning, but only one portrait – chosen by judges Kate Bryan, Tai-Shan Schierenberg and Kathleen Soriano – will go through to the semi-final.
