Rick Stein is waving goodbye to California and heading for the Mexican border – but before leaving the States he has to do one last thing: eat a proper diner breakfast.

A huge plate of steak, eggs, hash browns and toast later, Rick crosses into Tijuana before heading to the Baja Peninsula, where the culinary delights include fish tacos and burritos.

He winds up in an old-school bar, margarita in hand, listening to a cheerful mariachi band!
