Jackie Chan visits his uncle in New York and ends up on the wrong side of a bunch of bikers.
Chan’s first major US hit involves some stunning fight and chase sequences, with Chan on top form.
His heroic rescue of an obviously dummy baby is especially droll, the manic scene in which he uses a fridge door as a prop while besting several heavies is brilliantly choreographed and the ludicrous finale proves that there’s nothing more bothersome than a hovercraft let loose in the street.
Sloppily plotted and badly dubbed it may be, but this is one movie where there really is never a dull moment. Stay tuned for the outtakes at the end.
