When Sally learns of Geoff’s accident, she provides a guilty Brad with a shoulder to cry on. Sally is left feeling optimistic about their future after Brad opens up. She asks him again to move back home, and this time he says he’ll consider it. However, Sally later comes home to find Brad moving more of his belongings out of the house, telling her it would be impossible to pick up from where they left off. And Sally is devastated when he also informs her he’s resigning from work.

Martha and Jack have talked Dan into giving them marriage counselling as a necessary part of the divorce process. Although Martha still has feelings for Jack, she’s resigned herself to the fact she’s lost him for good. Jack, however, is eager to get the divorce finalised so that he can get on with his life with Sam. But they are both stunned when Dan refuses to sign off the counselling certificate at the end of the session. In his view, they still have unresolved issues and need further counselling.

And, with Geoff in hospital, Lucas and Brad feeling terrible that he will miss his big chance to impress the selector.
