In the wild only the strongest survive, but at Chester Zoo the most vulnerable animals always get a helping hand as The Secret Life of the Zoo continues

The keepers are worried in the penguin enclosure as they need to move the birds while their island has a makeover.

They are especially concerned for OAP couple Rudd and Spike, who are both in their twilight years and not known for coping well with change.

There is also a problem in the African painted dog enclosure as one of the new pups, Mosi, isn’t mixing with the pack.

Finally, the keepers need to step in to help orangutan toddler Tripa, who isn’t developing as fast as he should be.
