The Secret Lives of Slim People looks at how people who do not stick to a fitness regime or worry about what they eat, stay slim?
With the UK in the grip of an obesity crisis Supershoppers’ Sabrina Grant asks: what are lean people doing differently?
Hayley Marchesi, 34, and Rinia Rijker (below, with Sabrina), 30, allow cameras into their homes, while nutritionist Amanda Ursell studies what they eat.

Here, Sabrina Grant shares with TV Times her four favourite discoveries from filming…
Walk, walk, walk
‘Walking more is an obvious one, but the easiest thing you can do.
If you drive, park further away and walk. Stand on the train or bus.
You’ll feel your heart pumping when you take a flight of stairs, but power through and it burns the extra calories.’
‘Nutritionist Amanda Ursell tracks calorie intake. Contributors, like mum-of-three Hayley Marchesi, 34, from Eastbourne, are slim but also really busy.
Hayley fidgets a lot! She eats enough for her daily energy needs and burns more – without going to the gym.’
‘Many of us were told when we were young to finish all the food on our plates, but if you’re full you don’t need to finish it.
Put that food aside and maybe return to it later.’
