Sheila is shocked when she realises she has struck Ben with her car – but luckily he only has a couple of fractured ribs. Karl tells her it’s time to face up to her guilt and she admits all to Toadie who graciously forgives her. Sheila then tells Ben about fessing up, so Ben admits to Susan that he was the one to start the school fire.
Daniel appeals to Paul to save Amy and own up to what he has done. Paul thinks it will be a simple trip to the police station to notify them he was at the school on the night of the fire, but he is charged with burglary and theft. But Amy has little sympathy for her father even though he could lose the mayorship.
The news of Chris and Lucy’s baby being born hits Nate hard, and he’s reluctant to participate in a video call Amber’s organised with them. He questions Aaron’s commitment to him and their relationship. Things are tense, but Nate’s later thrilled to see Aaron is more than willing to step up and accept the challenge.
