Daniel asks Zara if she can pick up a present for one of Joe’s friend’s birthdays; she agrees amicably to this request and seems to be in a good mood but, as Daniel frets about broaching the idea of taking up dancing lessons, new girl Toni shows an interest in the idea. Daniel encourages Toni, but he isn’t entirely convincing as he tries to brush off the others’ warnings that he must be careful around Zara. Surely she’ll be fine – won’t she?

Meanwhile, Al’s delighted when Howard offers to spare him a day’s paperwork but it’s because there’s something else he needs – Howard wonders if Al can take a computer around to Emma’s house and get her set up, so that she can work from home? Al snaps at Emma when she oversteps the mark and rants about how undeserving he is of Niamh’s attentions – he tells Emma in no uncertain terms to keep her beak out of those things which don’t concern her.
